Songbird Landscape Supply — Return & Refund Policy

At Songbird Landscape Supply, we strive to provide high-quality landscape materials and exceptional customer service. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please review the policy below for information on returns, refunds, and exchanges.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns on most unused and unopened products within 14 days of the purchase date.
Eligible items may include:

  • Bagged soils, mulches, and aggregates (unopened)

  • Unused tools and equipment in original condition

  • Hardscape materials (bricks, pavers, stones) that have not been installed and remain in original condition

Items Not Eligible for Return

Certain items cannot be returned due to their nature:

  • Bulk materials (mulch, stone, soil, sand) once delivered or loaded

  • Custom orders or special-order products

  • Plants, sod, and live goods

  • Opened or partially used landscape materials

  • Clearance or final-sale items


2. Return Process

In-Store: Provide proof of purchase such as a receipt or order number.

Returned items must be in their original condition. Customers are responsible for transporting returnable items back to our store unless otherwise arranged.


3. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or denial.

Approved Refunds Will Be issued As:

  • Original payment method, when possible

  • Store credit, if preferred or if the original method is unavailable

Please allow 3–7 business days for refunds to process, depending on your bank or credit card provider.


4. Delivery & Pickup Issues

If there is an error with your delivery (wrong material, quantity discrepancy, etc.), please contact us within 48 hours so we can correct the issue promptly.

Refunds for delivery charges are not provided unless the error was made by Songbird Landscape Supply.


5. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item (excluding natural variations in stone, wood, or organic materials), notify us within 48 hours of pickup or delivery. We will arrange a replacement or a refund as appropriate.


6. Cancellations

Before Pickup/Delivery:

  • Orders may be canceled before materials are loaded or dispatched at no charge.

After Loading or Dispatch:

  • Cancellations may not be eligible for a refund, especially for bulk materials already prepared or loaded.


7. Exchanges

Exchanges may be made within 14 days, provided the item is unused and in resalable condition. Price differences will be collected or refunded at the time of exchange.
