Songbird Landscape Supply — Cancellation Policy

At Songbird Landscape Supply, we understand that plans change. This Cancellation Policy explains how order cancellations are handled for bulk materials, bagged goods, tools, and delivery services.
1. Order Cancellations (General)

Orders may be canceled before the materials are loaded, prepared, or dispatched.

To cancel an order, customers must contact us as soon as possible by phone or email.
Once an order is confirmed, timely communication is required to avoid fees.
2. Cancellations for Bulk Materials
Bulk materials (mulch, stone, soil, sand, aggregates) require advance preparation and loading.
Eligible for Cancellation:

Before loading or staging has begun

Before the delivery truck has been dispatched
Not Eligible for Cancellation (or may incur fees):

After materials are loaded into a truck

After materials have been delivered

For special-order or custom-blended materials
Bulk materials that have already been prepared, loaded, or delivered cannot be refunded.
3. Cancellations for Delivery Orders
Delivery orders may be canceled if:

The cancellation occurs before the truck has been dispatched

No special-order products are involved
Not Eligible or May Incur Fees If:

The truck is already en route
-
Delivery cannot be completed due to inaccessible or unsafe conditions
-
Driver time and fuel have already been committed
In these cases, a delivery or restocking fee may apply.
4. Special Orders
Special-order products may require full or partial payment upfront.

These items cannot be canceled once the order has been placed with the supplier.

In certain cases, cancellations may be accepted with a supplier’s approval, but restocking or cancellation fees may apply.
5. Bagged Goods, Tools & Supplies
These items can typically be canceled before pickup, provided the order has not been packed or staged for loading.
If already prepared or staged, a small processing fee may apply.
6. Refunds for Canceled Orders
Approved cancellations will be refunded to the original method of payment whenever possible.
Refunds will be issued within 3–7 business days depending on payment provider processing times.
7. No-Show or Failure to Pick Up
If a customer fails to pick up their order within 48 hours of the scheduled time:

The order may be canceled automatically

A restocking or rescheduling fee may apply

Refunds for bulk materials may not be available
8. How to Request a Cancellation
Customers may request a cancellation using any of the following:

Prompt communication is essential to avoid fees.
9. Policy Updates
Songbird Landscape Supply may update this policy as needed to reflect operational changes. The most current version will always apply.
